A step-by-step project management technique used to identify activities on the shortest path to completion.

Delays in any task on the critical path will directly delay the entire project completion date, making it the most vital sequence in site management.

Confused with 'Milestones'; Milestones are points in time, while the critical path is a sequence of dependent tasks.
