Electrocardiographic imaging (ECGi) is a non-invasive cardiac mapping technology that combines high-density body surface electrocardiography with computed tomography imaging to reconstruct epicardial electrical activity. The technique uses mathematical algorithms to solve the inverse problem of electrocardiography, creating detailed maps of cardiac activation, repolarization, and arrhythmia mechanisms. ECGi is particularly useful for pre-procedural planning in complex ablation cases and for understanding arrhythmia substrates without invasive catheterization.
