Fast Imaging Employing Steady-state Acquisition (FIESTA) is a balanced steady-state free precession MRI sequence that produces high signal-to-noise ratio images with bright blood appearance. FIESTA provides excellent contrast between blood pool and myocardium, making it ideal for measuring ventricular volumes and ejection fraction.
