Resin-modified glass ionomer (RMGI) is a dental restorative and luting material that incorporates light-curable or chemically-curable resin into a conventional glass ionomer base. RMGIs retain the key clinical advantage of sustained fluoride release, making them popular in paediatric dentistry and caries-active patients.
