Full Definition
A minimally invasive fetal surgical procedure where a small endoscope is inserted into the fetal bladder to directly visualize and treat urological abnormalities such as posterior urethral valves. The procedure is performed under maternal anesthesia with fetal immobilization, typically between 18-22 weeks of gestation. Therapeutic interventions may include valve ablation using laser or electrocautery techniques.

Usage note: Distinguish from diagnostic cystocentesis which only involves needle aspiration.
