Uterine papillary serous carcinoma (UPSC) is a highly aggressive subtype of endometrial adenocarcinoma that comprises approximately 10% of endometrial cancers but accounts for a disproportionate number of deaths. It is characterized by its papillary architecture, high nuclear grade, and propensity for early lymphatic and peritoneal dissemination. UPSC behaves similarly to ovarian serous carcinoma and requires comprehensive surgical staging. The prognosis is generally poor even when diagnosed at early stages.
