Visual Evoked Potential (VEP) is a non-invasive electrophysiological test that measures the electrical activity generated in the visual cortex when the eyes are stimulated with light or pattern stimuli. VEPs are particularly valuable in diagnosing optic nerve disorders, multiple sclerosis, and other demyelinating diseases.
