Medullomyoblastoma is an extremely rare embryonal brain tumor that represents a variant of medulloepithelioma with additional striated muscle differentiation. This tumor contains both primitive neuroepithelial elements forming flexner-wintersteiner-like rosettes and rhabdomyoblastic components showing cross-striations. It typically occurs in young children and carries a poor prognosis. The diagnosis requires demonstration of both neural and muscle differentiation through histological examination and immunohistochemical studies.
