The modified Thrombolysis in Cerebral Infarction (mTICI) score is a standardized angiographic grading system used to evaluate the degree of reperfusion achieved following endovascular stroke treatment. The scale ranges from 0 to 3, where 0 indicates no perfusion, 1 shows minimal perfusion past the occlusion, 2a indicates partial reperfusion of less than half the territory, 2b shows partial reperfusion of half or more of the territory, and 3 represents complete reperfusion. Successful reperfusion is typically defined as mTICI 2b-3, which correlates with better clinical outcomes.
