An endoprosthesis is an internal prosthetic implant designed to replace bone and joint structures removed during tumor resection. Modern endoprostheses are typically made of titanium or cobalt-chromium alloys and may incorporate porous surfaces to promote bone ingrowth and improve long-term fixation.
