Undifferentiated arthritis is a classification used for cases of juvenile arthritis that either do not fulfill criteria for any of the other ILAR categories or meet criteria for more than one category. This represents a heterogeneous group that may evolve into more specific subtypes over time. It serves as a temporary classification while awaiting further clinical developments or clarification of the disease pattern.
