Prune belly syndrome, also known as Eagle-Barrett syndrome, is a rare congenital disorder affecting primarily males. The condition is characterized by a triad of findings: deficient or absent abdominal wall musculature giving a wrinkled appearance, bilateral cryptorchidism, and severe urinary tract abnormalities including bladder distension and hydroureteronephrosis. The syndrome requires complex reconstructive surgery and ongoing urological management to preserve renal function.
