Multiparity

The condition of having given birth to two or more viable offspring.

Multiparity refers to the obstetric status of a woman who has delivered two or more pregnancies to viability (typically defined as 20 weeks gestation or birth weight ≥500g). This is distinguished from nulliparity (no previous births), primiparity (one previous birth), and grand multiparity (five or more previous births).
