The liner roll-on technique involves inverting a flexible sleeve-type liner and rolling it over the residual limb in a controlled, air-excluding manner to achieve total contact and suspension. The resulting vacuum or mechanical lock between liner and socket wall or pin provides secure suspension during ambulation.
