The Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (ITT) in a psychiatric hospital typically comprises the attending psychiatrist, nursing staff, social worker, psychologist, occupational therapist, recreational therapist, and, where applicable, dietitian and chaplain. The team meets regularly—often daily or several times per week—to review patient progress, adjust the treatment plan, and coordinate discharge planning. Documentation from ITT meetings must accurately attribute contributions to each discipline.
