The Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview (MINI) is a short structured clinical interview that was developed in 1990 by psychiatrists and clinicians in the United States and Europe for DSM-IV and ICD-10 psychiatric disorders. For use in psychiatric research, the MINI takes approximately 15 minutes to administer and explores the major Axis I psychiatric disorders. The MINI has modules corresponding to 17 disorders and has good reliability and validity compared with the SCID-P and the CIDI.
