This includes pre-treatment imaging (portal imaging, CBCT), in-vivo dosimetry, and post-treatment analysis. Modern verification systems use electronic portal imaging devices (EPIDs), cone-beam CT, or other imaging modalities to compare actual patient setup with planned positioning. Treatment verification is crucial for maintaining treatment accuracy and identifying systematic or random errors that could compromise treatment outcomes.
