Athletes experiencing this condition face immediate disqualification from competitive sports until comprehensive cardiac evaluation and risk stratification are completed. The condition may indicate underlying structural heart disease, channelopathies, or other cardiac abnormalities that predispose to sudden cardiac death during exertion.
