The part of an aerodrome used for the take-off, landing, and surface movement of aircraft, comprising the manoeuvring area and the apron(s).

The movement area is an ICAO-defined zone within an aerodrome that encompasses both the manoeuvring area (runways and taxiways) and the apron(s).
