CAD-RADS (Coronary Artery Disease Reporting and Data System) is a standardized classification system for reporting coronary CT angiography (CCTA) results, providing consistent terminology and management recommendations. The system uses a scale from CAD-RADS 0 (no stenosis) to CAD-RADS 5 (total occlusion), with specific recommendations for each category. CAD-RADS also includes modifiers for image quality, plaque characteristics, and stent evaluation. This standardization improves communication between radiologists and clinicians, facilitates quality assurance, and supports research by providing uniform reporting criteria. The system was developed by the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography and other professional organizations.
