placenta previa
A condition where the placenta partially or completely covers the cervical opening (cervical os).
VBAC
Vaginal birth after cesarean section, referring to vaginal delivery following a previous cesarean delivery.
Velamentous cord insertion
Abnormal umbilical cord insertion where vessels traverse fetal membranes before reaching the placenta.
vernix caseosa
A white, waxy substance covering newborns' skin at birth, providing protection in the womb.

Normal fetal presentation where the head is positioned downward with the occiput as the leading part.
