Seed-based connectivity is a widely used approach in resting-state functional MRI analysis that investigates functional relationships between brain regions. This produces connectivity maps showing which brain areas demonstrate synchronized activity patterns with the seed region. Seed-based analysis is particularly valuable for studying known functional networks, disease-related connectivity changes, and the effects of therapeutic interventions on brain network organization.
