Dynamic Contrast Enhancement is an advanced MRI technique that analyzes tissue enhancement patterns over time following intravenous contrast administration. DCE-MRI provides quantitative parameters reflecting tissue vascularity, vascular permeability, and blood flow, which are altered in malignant tumors. This technique generates pharmacokinetic parameters such as Ktrans, ve, and vp that can help differentiate benign from malignant lesions, assess tumor aggressiveness, and monitor treatment response, particularly to anti-angiogenic therapies.
