Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) is a comprehensive digital infrastructure that provides storage, retrieval, management, distribution, and presentation of medical images. The system integrates with various imaging modalities, radiology information systems (RIS), and electronic health records (EHR) to create a seamless imaging environment.
