The Musculoskeletal Tumor Society (MSTS) score is a validated functional assessment instrument used to evaluate outcomes in patients with bone and soft tissue tumors. The scoring system evaluates six domains: pain, function, emotional acceptance, supports (assistive devices), walking ability, and gait. Each domain is scored from 0 to 5 points, with a maximum total score of 30 points representing excellent function. The MSTS score is commonly used in orthopedic oncology research to compare functional outcomes between different treatment modalities.
