Arthrofibrosis is a pathological condition characterized by the excessive formation of dense fibrous scar tissue within and around joint structures, resulting in significant joint stiffness and loss of range of motion. Early recognition and aggressive rehabilitation intervention are critical for preventing permanent functional limitations and may require surgical intervention in severe cases.
