A surgical technique where a thin, flexible instrument called an arthroscope is inserted through a small incision to visualize the interior of a joint. This procedure allows surgeons to diagnose and treat various joint conditions with minimal tissue damage. Commonly performed on knees, shoulders, hips, and other joints, arthroscopy typically results in faster recovery times compared to open surgery.
