The Children's Oncology Group (COG) is the world's largest organization devoted exclusively to childhood and adolescent cancer research. Formed in 2000, COG conducts clinical trials, develops treatment protocols, and maintains the largest database of pediatric cancer patients. COG protocols are referenced extensively in pediatric oncology documentation and provide standardized treatment approaches. The organization includes more than 200 member institutions across North America, Australia, and New Zealand.
