Double bubble is a complication of breast augmentation where two separate breast contours are visible, creating the appearance of two 'bubbles' stacked on top of each other. This occurs when the implant sits below the natural inframammary fold while the natural breast tissue remains in its original position above. The condition can result from inadequate release of the inframammary fold during surgery or implant malposition. Surgical correction involves proper fold release and implant repositioning.
