A reproductive endocrinologist (RE) is a physician subspecialist who has completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology followed by fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. These specialists diagnose and treat complex fertility issues, hormonal imbalances, recurrent pregnancy loss, and reproductive disorders in both men and women. They are trained to perform advanced procedures including IVF, surgical treatments for endometriosis, and management of polycystic ovary syndrome and other reproductive endocrine conditions.
