A major urologic oncology procedure involving en bloc removal of the bladder, prostate, and seminal vesicles, usually with pelvic lymph node dissection. This represents the standard surgical treatment for muscle-invasive bladder cancer in male patients. The procedure may be performed via open, laparoscopic, or robot-assisted approaches. Following cystoprostatectomy, urinary diversion is required, typically through ileal conduit creation or neobladder construction.
