Full Definition
A rare urologic malignancy primarily affecting the glans, foreskin, or shaft of the penis, with squamous cell carcinoma comprising over 95% of cases. Risk factors include poor hygiene, phimosis, HPV infection, and smoking. The disease typically spreads through lymphatic channels to inguinal and pelvic lymph nodes. Early-stage disease may be treated with organ-sparing procedures, while advanced cases may require partial or total penectomy.
