Thrombus in Cerebral Infarction (TICI) is a widely adopted angiographic grading scale used to assess the degree of recanalization achieved during endovascular stroke therapy. The scale ranges from TICI 0 (no reperfusion) to TICI 3 (complete reperfusion), with TICI 2a indicating partial reperfusion of less than half the territory and TICI 2b representing substantial reperfusion of more than half the territory. TICI 2b-3 recanalization is considered the target for successful stroke intervention and is strongly correlated with favorable clinical outcomes.
