SYNTAX anatomy refers to the anatomical component of the SYNTAX score, which evaluates the complexity of coronary artery disease based on lesion location, dominance, bifurcations, and vessel characteristics. This scoring system helps clinicians determine whether patients are better candidates for percutaneous coronary intervention or surgical revascularization. The anatomical score considers factors such as vessel segment involvement, calcification, tortuosity, and thrombus burden to provide an objective assessment of procedural complexity.
