ECOG PS 0

Performance status rating indicating fully active patient with no restrictions on normal activities.

Full Definition

The highest functional status level in the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group Performance Status scale, designating patients who are fully ambulatory and able to carry out all normal activities without restriction. ECOG PS 0 patients can perform all pre-disease activities and show no evidence of disease-related functional impairment. This status is crucial for determining eligibility for aggressive treatments, clinical trials, and surgical interventions in urologic oncology patients.
